We will collect the information you input when you create an account as a Driver or Rider. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and payout method information. Additionally, we ask Drivers to submit other information to verify if they qualify to provide ridesharing services on the Scoot App. This may include home address, insurance or security numbers, driver’s license, vehicle make and model, and similar information.

Additional information may be provided on your profile, including your photo. Drivers are mandated to submit their photos when they register. This will be optional for Riders.

Also, our servers automatically record information when you use the Scoot App, including your interactions with different features on the Scoot App, IP address, browser type, and referral URLs. This information is used for analysis, troubleshooting, and to improve the Scoot Services.

Content information

We may collect information related to your payment methods, such as credit/debit cards and billing address in order to process Rider payments or Driver payouts. This information is securely transmitted and stored in compliance with industry standards. Your payment method information is directly collected and handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. You can learn more about their practices regarding your card information here.
